Salvi & Maher Wins $264,000 Arbitration Award for Client

Salvi & Maher, LLP received the Lake County car accident case, Parks v. American Country Insurance (14 MR 642), in December of 2010. The defense attorneys wanted more discovery and up to that point had ignored prior arbitration requests.

During this time, the Defense attorneys had only offered $5,000.00 to settle the case and then on the day of the arbitration, they offered $25,000.00 to settle and not proceed with the arbitration. Salvi & Maher, LLP attorney, Albert Salvi, rejected their offers and arbitrated Parks v. American Country Insurance in front of a panel of three arbitrators. Salvi won the case and obtained an arbitration award of $264,000 for his client, who had waited 15 years for his case to be resolved.
